Festivities!

We had a little picnic with friends yesterday in lovely High Park. Some people don’t get to eat outside very often and it’s a real treat. There was also a nature walk, playground races, petting zoo excitement (a wombat or something was stuck in the tree in the peacock’s cage) and ice cream. And cupcakes.

Sadly, I had to work early this morning and now I am tired. Also, after such a lovely weekend, today’s weather is totally depressing.

Baby face

Have I posted this picture yet? I made her hat. I gave Bea a bath on Thursday which was awesome. Like, amazing. Nothing like a slippery baby. And she was laying back with her hair like a mermaid’s floating in the water and kicking both legs at the same time. Then I started laughing and she impersonated me and our laughter resonated in the bathroom and now I want to have a baby yesterday. “Ho ho ho,” said Bea. Then grandma peeked over my shoulder at me and Beazy started screaming bloody murder and the moment was over.

  2. No, it probably wasn’t a wombat. I don’t think they live in the wilds of Toronto. Maybe it was a Woozle or something like that.
