1 I like birds because they do stuff that’s normal-eating, walking, running-and they do stuff that’s silly, but they don’t have facial expressions so they are like robots doing silly stuff. It almost makes it funnier because they just don’t get the joke, unlike dogs or pigs.
2 I found my hair iron! Seriously! 2 full months of crazy, unruly hair and it turned up in the linen closet under a pile of neatly rolled towels. Just like I knew it was, and I’d looked there 87 times but not hard enough. And I did my hair today and it looked spectacular. I also ironed Ari’s hair, and it also looked great. Although daddy wasn’t a fan, I think.

No, seriously, I tore this apartment apart looking. Everywhere obvious and everywhere stupid. I think it just got buried, somehow…
Have you considered that it wasn’t there when you looked earlier? That perhaps someone else put there afterwards to avoid being blameed for it. I just remember being a rotten little? kid and putting stuff back after having “borrowed” it and usually later “helping” to look for it and eventually finding it. :)
(By the way, I do NOT use the word “kid” to reference chronological age!)
It’s funny you say that, Will, after I found it and was exclaiming my joy, Ari said “you’re so happy I found it for you” when she didn’t help at all. So, yeah, maybe you’re onto something!
