That perhaps someone else put there afterwards to avoid being blameed for it. I just remember being a rotten little? kid and putting stuff back after having "borrowed" it and usually later "helping" to look for it and eventually finding it. :) (By the way, I do NOT use the word "kid" to reference chronological age!)
