Hmm, Treyci, I don't know. I am not much of a pattern writer, my instructions always have numbers and + signs.

After you do the initial chain (my first scarf was 37)turn, skip the first chain and single chain all the way down, that's 36 stitches. Turn.

Skip the first chain, dc, dc, dc, 3 dc's in the next chain, dc, dc, dc, skip 2 chains, dc, dc, dc, 3 dc's in the next chain, dc, dc, dc, skip 2, etc...til the end. Turn.

And repeat. Did I miss a turn instruction? Probably, that's what it sounds like. Or I missed a skip. Sorry!!! At least I know (probably better than most) how un-heart breaking it is to frog out mistakes. That's why I quit knitting, too hard to fix things!

Now I am worried I am just repeating myself. I will try to post a real close up of both scarves to point out the stitches.

i attempted the sock scarf pattern and it doesn't seem to be working for me. i'm not sure if i'm missing something or what, but i follow the instructions you posted and i keep ending up with a larger and larger crescent shaped bit of crocheting. i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong or what i'm missing. hmm. any ideas? since you did so much frogging around i'm sure you've encountered a similar result and might have some idea what it is that i'm doing or not doing.

Kevin has put in a request for a Doctor Who scarf. And he knows I don't know how to knit, so he told me to ask if you can do anything.
Also: I told him, "Oh yeah? Well they have a ZOMBIE WALK in Toronto!" and now he wants to move there more than ever.
Is it really as expensive as everyone says? The way some people describe it sounds a little exaggerated, but when I look at rental prices on craigslist it does seem a little pricey.

I'll certainly ask them about colours - though "manly" I'm certain is best. They will be thrilled I'm sure. I'm home on the 28th and that will be my first chance to ask, Mum xo

He's good like that. It was his tiara I was wearing in the zombie march. I had to promise my first born if even one speck of blood got on it.

A google to what? What does that mean?

My second scarf, the blue/brown/charcoal one is almost finished. Do you think Bruce or Bill might be interested? Bruce loved the first one, maybe a slightly more manly colour would appeal to him? Could you ask please?
