I swore I wouldn’t work on them tonight but taking that picture made me get the itch, so I fiddled a little, as you can see:
It might be hard to understand, but Frankenstein’s monster is wearing a hospital gown and little else. I made the ghost look like Jason in the first Halloween movie, one of the scariest movies EVER. Zombie and werewolf have been outlined, and I like how they are going, but both need more love before I am going to be truly happy. I have to tackle that Dracula tomorrow. Somehow I have to figure out how to do his neckline, his bow tie is just…floating, and that’s not right.

Ahem, you mean Michael Myers in Halloween.
Where might one find the nesting doll blanks. My kids would love these!!
Fizzle. Yeah, I guess I do. Jason, Michael, Freddie, who can keep track these days?
You know what, Nickh? Shannon got them a long time ago, I think from a Russian website. He got three sets, one for each of us, and he can’t remember either. I think if you go through Zentastic you’ll find a link there, or just google it.

I think they took a long, LONG time to get here. Another idea would be finding a cheap set and re-painting them.
Thnaks so much!
These look even more hilarious in person! This is one of my favorite projects of yours.
These are great. I think the ghost is my favourite. I also have some blank nesting dolls, waiting for the perfect idea. I wanted to do creatures from Labyrinth because they range in size perfectly, but it turns out I am not quite artistic enough to copy Brian Froud.
Thanks, Rach. The Frankenstein is now Bride of Frankenstein and it’s ridiculous. I still have to finish her face and I will post a picture.
Of course, now they are finished (almost) I have had tons more ideas of what to paint them as. I was looking at pictures of SCTV last night and getting mad I hadn’t thought of that earlier. Ah, well!
