'Cause that's one of the joys of big city living. You also can't walk down the street these days without choking on someone's cigarette smoke, thanks to the city wide (or is it province? Country?) ban on smoking indoors. In the winter snow is white for about 30 seconds, then it's brown slop that wrecks hardwood floors and carpets everywhere. And the noise? It's never quiet here, and we don't see any stars at night.... I have a long list of positives too (great restaurants, pretty stellar public transit, friendly people everywhere, lots to see and do) just in case you think I am complaining too much!
