The accordion-playing fellow on the front with Little My is called Snufkin, and Moomintroll's lady friend is the Snork Maiden. The Wikipedia entry has lots more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moomin. I discovered them when I lived in Finland, and I LOVE the books... so much wisdom. I've been thinking about Moomin tattoos for a while but haven't settled on anything yet.

the character with the fringe is Little My, a friend of mine is called LittleMy on various sites, as she looks like the character.

Shannon could get tattooed under his beard, of course he would have to shave it off first....pleeeeeease make him shave it off LOL

They are hard candy, melon, strawberry, banana and pineapple flavours, and they are small-about the size of a Halls. They are dusted with icing sugar to keep them from sticking to each other, which is nice, considering how small the opening to the tin is.

Oh I actually used to LOVE the Moomins when I was little! When I was at school my friend from Hong Kong brought me back a Moomin pencil case and it was the best thing ever.

Oh and I agree with the above "butt" suggestion. Perhaps one on each cheek so that when he clenches they look like they're hugging? Haha.

The Mumi! OMG. I am so jealous of your new tin! I'm a huge fan, and watch them all the time when I'm in Norway with my Fiance!
May I?
The Mumi are a magical creature, and the main characters of an entire Children's empire in Scandinavia. Their originally from Finland, but every child in the whole area knows them. They have books, feature films with puppets, any kind of accessory, and of course the Themepark. Yes, a whole themepark devoted to the Mumi's.
You have to research them just a little more even, they are too precious!

Sorry for the ramble, but the pictures just made me squeal with delight!

p.s. - The two Mumi that are on your tin are the Son (of the MamaMumi and PapaMumi, also the main character), and that's his lady-friend main squeeze next to him with the fringe. ooh lala.
