I love reading, I have a pile of books on crochet and crafting and they help a lot. I also used to work at a costume company and we had spare time there and older women so they taught me stuff too, which was great, I owe them big time. Andy-thanks! I wish the Simpsons would go back to being a good show. I have found it unwatchable for about 5 years now. I mean, think about how funny and clever it was 10 years ago, 14 years ago. Jenn, DO IT! Nowadays, seems like there's one of us on every corner, how cool! And thanks, I actually don't knit at all-although I know how fairly well-I gave it up for Lent and just never picked it back up.
