Yes, in the living room.

But we had a terrible tragedy last night: the white fish expired! She was fine, swimming with her buddy and we were watching Ghostbusters, then halfway through the movie I went to get a drink and she was laying at the bottom of the pond, so I tapped the side and she flapped her wings a bit. Then I tapped harder on the way back and she FREAKED OUT on her side, flapping flipping flopping. Then she totally wedged herself under a rock at the bottom and DIED.

Ugh. It's sad, really sad. She was 11 years old. I wish I knew why she died, what happened, to avoid it happening to the other gals.

i got a small aquarium a couple of months ago and bought a betta, 5 neon tetras and then later added 2 platty's. i LOVE my fish! after hot docs i am sourcing out a 90 gallon tank so i can get bigger fish like oscars. my fish all have personalities, and they all swim to the front of the tank when i come over to see them. that's because they know food will miraculously drop into their tank when i appear.

where is your pond? in the house?

I can't remember the name of it at the moment (just woke up, no tea yet) but I seem to recall there being a fish that actually DOES respond to human touch. Not like, pick it up and hug it, but more like you can pet it.
I'll get back to you on that.
