Cookies

These are sort of mutant cookies. I had half a box of lemon cake mix that had been sitting around for a while-I don’t even remember what became of the first half-that I decided to make cookies, based on that awesomely easy recipe I made almost a year ago. I used mini chocolate chips and they came out really well, thanks!

lemon crinkles

I’m calling them lemon crinkles. Next in line for baking are cupcakes, but that might not happen until we return from our trip to CR.

How do you turn cake mix into cookies?

  • Caitlin Jane  On 09/28/2009 at 10:07 pm

This time, with half a cake mix, I used 1/4 C oil, one egg, some chocolate chips, roll 1″ balls into icing sugar, bake 2″ apart at 350 for 10 min.

    Nothing could be easier!

You do more baking than I do so I ask in case you know, what to do with a bag full of hideous, huge, mottled, shaped like small boulders with the same consisistency, pears?

I have a sack of pears too, sitting and sulking on the counter. I think I may make the world’s best apple cake with them. I think it would totally work…Poached pears are also REALLY nice, holy.
