You know, so do I. I don’t like to be wasteful either when I make throw pillows or something for my apt, or curtains. That’s usually where I draw the line. Granted I “re-purpose” a lot of stuff I find of that get’s donated to me.

At my old job we were cleaning out a storage area and I found an old but beautiful part of a stage curtain made out of this amazing midnight blue, heavy velvet. Looks lovely in my living room not that I’ve turned it into curtains :) I’ve got scraps left, don’t want to throw them away. Sometimes I just donate them to someone else or to charity. If I lived in ON still I’d drop them off at your place!

Yay! I’ve been begging Shannon to take me for poutine for weeks.

Steph, I dont know what motivates me, but I hate throwing out scraps, and looking at strips of pretty fabric that cost me an arm and a leg…Next one I make is a pineapple block. My favourite.
