In Canada when going through a divorce, the person that starts the proceedings is the person that's basically in charge and controls the situation. So, while it's true that Shannon has not signed any paperwork, it's also true that he hasn't yet been served with any paperwork because of...whatever, reasons. AND it also means that he can't counter file because it's already, technically, started. So it's been started up again after a long time in limbo. Bonus #11 factoid about me: I am totally obsessed on the city Detroit and I am subscribed to many different Detroit-positive blogs and I think/talk about Detroit a lot. This, despite the fact that the first time I went to Detroit I saw a dead female pitbull laying at the side of the highway and was so upset I vowed never to return. Or the time 2 girlfriends and I almost got murdered there. It just makes it a more exciting city in my head. I <3 D-town. Um.
