I saw this card last time I was at Magic Pony but I was so distracted by miniature sushi and Southpark zipper pulls I forgot to buy it. Lucky for me it was still in stock when I returned this afternoon. Can’t say that for the sushi.

Has anything sillier ever existed? I can’t take it out of the plastic wrapper until I have a frame for it so I won’t get damaged by spit takes. Seriously, it’s pretty much the funniest card ever.

So after months of bugging Shannon, I have finally gained control of thispeanutlookslikeaduck. I feel somewhat bad, it hadn’t been updated since October of 2009, haha, so there is considerable catching up to do. Not to mention the foolish assertion that we’d mail out stickers, gosh, forget about it. It triples the work and considering how old the emails are, lots of people would have moved by now.

Not to mention the expense.

So I’ve posted 10 new ducks. That’s about all I can manage in one evening, even if it is pleasurable work, full of me laughing at various pictures of things that look like ducks. And things that don’t. And spam galore. Please remember that I am no Shannon Larratt-I don’t possess his writing or photo editing skills. Nor his dry and silly sense of humour. But I do my best.

Also funny, this tweet from Nikki Sixx the other day made me laugh:

Shannon has dealt with this problem a lot in his lifetime, it’s the curse of having a gender neutral name. This tweet is funny on more than one level, insult and injury, poor old Mr. Sixx. I’m reading his book right now, The Heroin Diaries. Should be called The Harrowing Diaries, it’s so brutal. I find I can only read a couple pages at a time, it’s so excruciating. His survival is pretty amazing!

Someone who lives in my building had fun Saturday night with their motorcycle. Or did something deeply regrettable, I’m not sure. What I do know is that loud revving could be easily heard and that the perfume of burnt rubber was in the air. At 1:30am.

Lucky us.

But check the damage done to the tire, it’s almost worn right through. The asphalt beneath is worn through and melted too.

Someone has a big weiner. You can tell.

What’s wrong with this picture? It took me a minute of brain wracking to really figure it out. At first I wondered what kind of underwear he was wearing. Then I wondered what his nipple piercings were attached to…under there.

Really. I really wondered that.

Then I realized that whoever put this festive scarecrow decoration together just put the body on upside down. It looks super hilarious to me and I cackled loudly at the grocery store when I figured it out.

Sorry it’s so glare-y. I was in line to get some lunch and things were happening fast and I’m fairly certain that people already thought I was weird because of the laughing and picture taking.

I got misdirected emails a long time ago, people who just guessed at their friend’s email address and wound up with me. I always tried to be polite and redirect them-or at least tell them to try something different. I got another one the other day and felt playful. Here is what I originally got from a complete stranger:

School is great. Professor Snape is teaching potions again this year, so I have nothing to worry about. No major mishaps on the Hogwarts express either.

Awesome, eh? So at soccer practice (or whatever sport they’re up to), good old Coach Katie had a laugh with one confused Caitlin.
